Terms and Conditions

1. Service Agreement

By scheduling a pickup, placing an order, or using any service provided by Sedona Laundry (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the customer (“you” or “client”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all laundry, pickup, delivery, and related services.

2. Pre-Authorization & Payment Policy

To ensure accurate processing and to prevent last-minute additions, every order requires a pre-authorization hold based on your estimated laundry weight or item count.

Pre-Authorization Structure (Hold Amounts)

  • Orders estimated below $100: a $100 hold will be placed.
  • Orders estimated above $100 but below $200: a $200 hold will be placed.
  • And so on, increasing in $100 increments based on estimated total.

This hold is not a charge, but a temporary authorization to secure your booking and prevent additions after processing begins.

Final Billing

  • After your laundry is processed and the actual total is calculated, the final amount will be charged.
  • Any remaining balance from the pre-authorization hold will be automatically released/refunded by your bank.
  • Release time may vary depending on your bank’s policy (typically 2–7 business days).

Last-Minute Additions

Items added after pickup or once cleaning has begun may not be accepted and will incur an additional processing fee if they require separate handling.

3. Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup times are scheduled based on availability and may be adjusted due to volume or weather.
  • If the client is unavailable at the scheduled time, an additional pickup fee may apply.
  • Delivery will occur once cleaning is completed and payment is finalized.

4. Garment Handling & Care

  • We follow industry-standard cleaning processes and handle every item with care.
  • Clients must inform us of delicate items, special instructions, or pre-existing damage prior to pickup.
  • Sedona Laundry is not responsible for:
    • normal wear and tear
    • shrinkage or color fading
    • items left in pockets (coins, pens, makeup, etc.)
    • weak fabrics that may tear or pill during standard washing

5. Lost or Damaged Items

  • Claims for missing or damaged items must be made within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Compensation, if applicable, will be limited to a maximum of 5x the service cost of that item (industry standard).
  • Proof of purchase or value may be required.

6. Hygiene & Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse items that are:

  • hazardous
  • heavily soiled with bodily fluids
  • contaminated with chemicals
  • infested with pests (e.g., bed bugs)

Such items may incur a contamination or biohazard fee or may be returned unprocessed.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Same-day cancellations may incur a fee.
  • Orders canceled after pickup will be charged a minimum service fee, plus any costs incurred.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal information is used only to manage your orders, provide service updates, and process payments. We do not share, sell, or distribute customer information to third parties.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By using Sedona Laundry’s services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions. These terms may be updated at any time, and continued use of our services confirms your acceptance of any changes.
